I’ve not done this in a while.

I’ve stopped feeling the need to put things down in words. That’s not to say I’ve stopped feeling, because I’ve always been in touch with my feelings, emotions and all. But they’ve never overwhelmed me. I’ve kept everything bottled down in this cauldron. And as we all know, bottling up your emotions is like putting a lid on a boiling pot of water. The water heats up, expands, and eventually, the pot will be overturned, and chaos ensues. 

Life has been monotonous at best, melancholic at worst. The few people who know the inner workings of my being are stuck serving the nation, or studying overseas. I’m stuck in this hellhole, and I cannot wait for my opportunity to leave. 

I do not enjoy sitting in class, pretending that I am actually learning anything, pretending that videos are the only “creative” medium for teaching in the entire world, pretending that everything is going according to plan, pretending. 

I do not enjoy smiling at the world around me, when all I want to do is punch everything and everyone I see. 

There’s a strange therapeutic feeling in writing. That, or the fact that I’m starting to become mentally unstable.
